As a tribute to the artist Francisco Mantecon, every year the wine company Bodegas Terras Gauda runs a competition, where the winning entry will form the basis for the its advertising campaign for a one year period. This competition is open to any natural or corporate person. Only original and unpublished entries. Any form of photographic, painting or computerised techniques, etc may be used. Under exceptional circumstances originals created using painting techniques (oil, watercolours, guasch, pastels, etc) may be accepted without a computerised format. This Biennale aims to show achievements in computer art, which will stimulate the development of computer graphic art, and to establish a permanent gallery of computer art. Only graphic works produced by the computer (as computer prints, matchprints, proofs etc.) in the years 2004 – 2006 will be accepted for the competition. Every artist participating in the competition can submit an unlimited number of works. Winners will be invited to Rzeszów (Poland) for a three-day visit.
