Hong Kong International Poster Triennial 2007

The Hong Kong International Poster Triennial is a major event of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum (HKHM) to document the development of international poster design and to celebrate its achievements at regular intervals. This is the third time the Museum has organized the Triennial in accordance with the guidelines endorsed by the International Council of Graphic Design Associations. The competition is open to designers from all regions and countries. There is no limitation to the number of entries submitted by each entrant. It is structured in 3 parts: a contest, an exhibition and a symposium. Op n competition is organized under the category of ‘Ideology’, ‘Promotion of Cultural Events’, ‘Commercial and Advertising’ and ‘Thematic’ posters. Three awards will be selected from each of the four categories. Seven prominent international designers have been invited to form a judging panel. A Triennial exhibition will be presented in the HKHM to exhibit all selected entries from November 2007 to April 2008. To coincide with the display, an illustrated catalogue will be published. Partecipation fee is not required.
